Spring!

Cherry Blossoms at UW

Yes - the seasons turn and turn and it is spring again. This is an old photo from the quad on the UW campus. I went there this year again, but didn’t get any good photos. It was raining and the Muse was absent.

So - why not post this lovely one? My favorite. It is from 2016 - in the blessed time before masks. This year a lot of people were wearing them - outside even .

The mask mandates are beginning to be lifted here in Seattle. I am thrilled about it. I see that most people choose to still wear theirs. It surprises me, but then I realize that the pandemic has been very traumatic for a lot of people. (Duh). They are still afraid. I will be patient and use mine too for their sake a while longer, (and from now on always mask up in hospitals, or if I am sick etc. of course)

I know we are on our way to normal agin. Maybe a slightly different, hopefully improved one.
